Amputee Program referrals can only be initiated by health professionals. If you are a patient who wants to be seen at the Prosthetics Clinic, you need to talk with your doctor first who can then refer you to us.
After being seen by a Physiatrist in the hospital, or referred to the Service by a Specialist or Family Doctor the earliest rehab will start is approximately 10 days after discharge from hospital following the amputation.
